Who are we?
Tech club is, well, a club that works with technology to build (and eventually race) go-carts.
What do we do?
Obviously, we build things that move. But there are plenty of things to do before the car goes on the road. These include:

Virtually modeling the cart with Autodesk Inventor

Building a model of the cart
-
Mathematics and predicting how fast it will go

Controls (such as as steering and acceleration)

Welding it together
If you are interested in doing these things, just show up to a meeting and say you're new. If you don't enjoy it, you don't have to keep coming back. But if you like it, then by all means, continue coming!
When do we meet?
Tech club meets most Thursdays at 6:00 pm in the Western Dubuque High School Vocational Building in Epworth, Iowa.
